The Nottingham Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Service

The Nottingham Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Service treats patients with diseases of the pancreas, bile duct, gall bladder and the liver.

We are passionate about offering our patients the latest available treatments and this website is designed to give you an insight in to the care that we provide.

The Nottingham HPB Service is both a local and regional tertiary referral centre for all aspects of HPB disease and we are a centre of excellence for laparoscopic (keyhole) HPB surgery. We serve the East Midlands Cancer Network and cover a catchment area of over 2.25 million people in Nottingham, Mansfield, Lincoln, Boston, Grantham, Derby and beyond.

Our HPB service consists of a team who specialise in the management of HPB disease and includes Consultant Surgeons, Anaesthetists, a dedicated theatre team, Hepatologists ( Liver specialists), Pathologists, Radiologists (Imaging specialists), Oncologists (Cancer treatment specialists) as well as specialist nurses and ward based staff including nurses, dieticians and physiotherapists.
