Hospital LibraryThe Hospital Library provides leisure reading, both fiction and non-fiction, for staff, patients, visitors, students and staff of the Medical School, and volunteers.

Your library can offer you:

  • Hardback and paperback fiction

  • Non-fiction, including biographies, travel, gardening and cooking

  • Reference collection

  • Local interest section

  • Large print books

  • Books on cassette and CD

  • Children’s and teenagers’ books

  • Magazines

  • Seating area for reading or study

In addition to the D Floor Library, a team of friendly volunteers takes the library service to the patients, visiting most wards on the QMC campus up to twice weekly.

Location

Your library is located on D Floor, East Block, QMC Campus.   

From the East Block lifts, walk through the double doors towards South Block and your library is immediately to your right, next door to the Anticoagulant Clinic and opposite the Multi Faith Centre.
