There are a number of ways

Join the NUH active team as an instructor

We’re always looking for new instructors to join the team to provide classes. We are especially interested in instructors with gym qualifications to provide cover for the staff gym sessions.

Be one of our Health & Wellbeing Champions

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to become Health Champions to promote our health and wellbeing activities at NUH.

NUH is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our staff and we want to increase the number of people getting involved.

There are a number of activities you could get involved with

  • Assisting the Health & Wellbeing Coordinator with admin tasks
  • Distributing posters around campus
  • Being a cycle champion
  • Motivating colleagues to get involved
  • Volunteering at events to talk to staff about health and wellbeing at the Trust (such as corporate induction, health & wellbeing week, time out/team days)
  • Helping with staff consultation

You need to be enthusiastic, reliable, committed to health & wellbeing and get on well with people.

This is a voluntary post which allows an hour a week in work time

All Champions get free NUH-active membership, discounted access to classes and the gym, a free t shirt, regular updates and advance notice of health and wellbeing activities and an annual health & wellbeing social event.

Become a Dignity at Work champion
