Genetics

Genetics is a specialised service that receives referrals from across the East Midlands Region and other parts of the UK. The service provides diagnosis, genetic counselling and support to patients and families with (or at risk of) a range of inherited disorders. It also provides services for non-inherited conditions with a genetic basis. Our team includes Consultant Clinical Geneticists, Genetics Counsellors, and specialist Genetics Laboratory staff (Clinical Cytogenetics, and Molecular Genetics).
