 Welcome to the Maternity Unit

The Maternity Unit at the City Hospital NHS Trust was built in 1994 offering a fully comprehensive maternity service with all facilities including neonatal services, parent education, and a patient hotel.  The unit has approximately 5,700 births and 15,000 outpatient visits per year. The 67 beds include the rooms in the patient hotel. There are consultant obstetricians and an experienced team of midwives who are well supported by trained midwifery assistants, receptionists, administration staff and medical secretaries. Nottingham City Hospital is a teaching hospital that involves students with all aspects of care.
