Hospitals thousands of people fail
to keep their appointments. If we
have no warning, we can’t give the
slot to someone else who really
wants it.
This really matters to us. It is costly for the hospital and wastes staff time and resources. Most of all it impacts on the length of time others have to wait for their appointments. If you cannot make your appointment, no longer need it or want to rearrange it, please let us know, giving as much notice as possible in order that we can give the appointment to another patient who is waiting. Change your appointmentIf you can't come to a clinic (outpatient) appointment at Nottingham University Hospitals QMC campus, Nottingham City Hospital campus or Ropewalk House for any reason you can do one of the following:
Once we have received your request to change your appointment we will contact you within three working days by the method you have selected on the form to agree a convenient date and time for your new appointment. Once we have received your request to cancel your appointment we will cancel your appointment on our computer system. Note, if you choose to cancel, you will not be offered a new appointment. |
